Veterans Association of former Army of the UNR had more than once raised their voice against slanders on a good name of Chief Otaman Symon Petliura, the Ukrainian Army and the liberation struggle of the Ukrainian Nation.

Today, in the aftermath of the Paris verdict, while Jewish-muscovite mercenaries rejoice over the acquittal of their agent, veterans declare a strong objection against the decision and proclaim to the whole civilized world the following:

1. Chief Otaman Symon Petliura, an ideological architect and a leader of the regular Ukrainian Army, always suppressed by all available means any acts of a violence toward Ukrainian civilians regardless of their ethnic background. He always prosecuted those responsible for the crimes to the fullest extent of the law.

2. The Jewish population must be grateful to Chief Otaman Symon Petliura for saving of tens of thousands of them from the violence of the mob, instigated by the Red Moscow agents, which swarmed to Ukraine by thousands and filled the Cheka death squads, which have tortured to death tens of thousands of the best sons of Ukraine.

3. Our veterans, that in 1919-20, had seen the prison cellars of the Cheka, where our freedom fighters were murdered, believe that the time will come, when the civilized world will discover the truth about these jails and a number of victims tortured there (never to be seen by anyone again) and that the Schwartzbard’s cruel deed was only a transfer of the crimes of Cheka’s torture chambers to the streets of Paris.

That is why Schwartzbard, which was perceived by the Jews – blinded with a wicked hatred to the Ukrainian Nation and its liberation struggle, to be an avenger for pogroms, is the agent of the Red International, same as his predecessors that drowned the whole Ukraine in blood.

4. The hatred of all things Ukrainian by the Jews and their press clearly demonstrates to the whole civilized world the circumstances, in which Ukrainian Nation, the Ukrainian Army and the Leader Symon Petliura were compelled to fight for independence of their homeland.

5. Former combatants of Army of the UNR still hold true to the ideals of liberation struggle of Ukrainian Nation, pronounced by the late Chief Otaman Symon Petliura, and will never betray them. The bright mind of the late leader will always be in front of the legions, which will commence the revived struggle for Ukraine, to rescue it from tenacious hands of the red tormentors – the Scwartzbards, who are destroying it economically and murdering the greatest liberation fighters every day.

Memory eternal to the distinguished Chief Otaman Symon Petliura, – the martyr for Ukrainian Nation!
